A Catalytic One Word Prompt for March

It’s almost March first and as I look out the window where I’m writing the world is still white and gray.

In Minnesota, March is the cruelest month… The month I’m most tempted to throw in the towel and run away to Tahiti. It’s hard to stay motivated on every front, especially the One Word front. But we’re in this together, amiright?

In February I promised a prompt each month to help us really lean into our One Word with Jesus. So today, just two questions to journal about.

Where have you seen positive evidence of your One Word in the past?  (Like if “Brave” is your word, where have you been brave in the past? What was it like?)

Where have you failed to live out your One Word in the past? (Like if “Rest” is your word, when have you been driven by work and why?)

Pray, thanking God for evidence of this quality in the past and asking for further transformation in the future.

Hi Laura, thanks so much for the reminder. I have been blest to hear my word – phrase – more and more, almost every week!
I wrote the scriptures out with those words and they speak about more and more faith, more and more love, so throughout the week, I pray for these things. I’m so aware of my need for Him more and more and am pursuing Him with all I have!
